Doubletree By Hilton New York Times Square South Hotel

Perfect and impeccably clean place with very amiable and respectful staff at the reception desk. Very clean bed in the double room, plus climate control, a coffee/tea maker and a multi-channel TV. Brilliant private bathroom. Location: comfortable, just off Hudson river and the very nice Hudson River Park and nearby stores and attractions. Besides, excellent for visiting a long-standing department store.

The location is particularly good and stunning, at a walking distance from New York Public Library. Moreover, it is adjacent to 3 Catholic churches and the new Hudson yards and main attraction.

We got 2 nights in this hotel, liked it. The property was located adjacent to penn station and port authority, stores and restaurants, restaurants.

Such an enjoyable stay by a night in a jiffy. I loved it, the hotel is fairly clean, has good location and staff. The room was big size with views of the empire state of 19m2 and had climate control, TV set and a coffee maker.

Rooftop bar offers fantastic views, perfect for unwinding with a drink after a day of navigating the city. Proximity to Times Square means excitement is just a short stroll away, with excellent access to public transportation to get around like an ace pilot.

The King room with an Empire State Building view felt cramped, and my measurements made it clear it didn't match the advertised size-more like 13.82m2 instead of the claimed 19m2. The view was barely noticeable, wedged between buildings, and the pungent smell of weed occasionally wafting through the AC made it less than ideal. The hallway cleanliness left something to be desired, with odd debris lingering longer than it should have, which could be off-putting for some.

Skip to the good part!

Perfectly positioned near Times Square but not lost in the chaos, this stay offers a good rooftop bar with excellent views. We enjoyed quick access to public transit and charming cafes while exploring. A cozy base for our NYC adventure!

My stay at the Doubletree was enjoyable with a fantastic location just minutes from Times Square. The room was cozy, and the staff were welcoming. Just a heads up, the air conditioning could use some improvement, but overall, a great experience!

central to major attractions, ideal for city walks

Staying here was a treat as it put me just a few minutes walk from Times Square and Madison Square Garden. I also appreciated the quiet air conditioning and the fantastic view I had from my room, made my downtime just as nice as the explorations.

The location was perfect for exploring midtown with easy access to the subway, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I previously visited new york but this hotel was great with its modern rooms and comfortable beds were great.

the room could've used more hangers.

my stay was amazing! the clean and modern room had all the necessary plug points, making it super convenient. it genuinely exceeded my past experiences in new york, especially with the lovely atmosphere and attentive staff during this romantic getaway.

housekeeping missed a few essentials.

The view of the Empire State Building from my room was amazing 🌆 The room was a bit small, but the location was super convenient for exploring NYC.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to Times Square. The staff were cute and friendly, always eager to help. I particularly enjoyed the lovely rooftop bar with fine views of the Empire State Building.

More seating in the lobby would be helpful.

I loved the cozy room with a comfortable king bed. The location is prime, just a short walk to Times Square. Staff were friendly and offered free cookies at check-in. The rooftop bar had amazing views. Great place for a family getaway 🍹

Solo traveler nightmare

Had a decent view from the 29th floor and the mattress was pretty comfy. but that's where the good times ended. The coffee machine was nice, but the rest of the experience was not worth it.

This place was not cheap. but acceptable otherwise.
